I took a call from a customer who had hit a kerb and damaged 2 tyres on their Citroen C3, they then drove the car to a supermarket car park and parked it there, the following day they called me and enquired about our service and how we could help.
The first thing we always ask for is the tyre size, now the customer was back home which was outside London and they did not know the details, so they gave us the vehicle reg and we checked online, but this is not always 100% accurate, so we took the vehicle location which was local to us and went to check for ourselves.
Once at the vehicle i checked the tyres and the size was 185/60/15, the online checker gave a different size. We let our customer know that we would be able to complete the work within a couple of hours. We agreed on a time, but as their was no locking wheel nuts fitted working on the car would be ok even if the customer was not present, but we agreed on a time.

We arrived with the tyres and loosened the wheel nut and lifted the car, the car park was busy and space was limited, luckily the bay adjacent to the car was vacant so we put a cone in it as this would give us more room. By now it was starting to get dark so we wasted no time in getting on with the job.
We fitted and balanced the the tyres as quickly as we could and torqued up the wheel nuts, the customer was present as seemed pleased to finally have his car back.
We packed up our tools and said our farewells.
