Tyres fitted to Maserati in Wembley[/caption]A new customer called to arrange for the replacement of all 4 Accelera tyres on his Maserati Ghibli, the rears were 275/40/19 and the fronts were 245/45/19, the car had Continental`s fitted, but he wanted a budget brand and the only option that i could get that was matching were the Accelera brand.As the customer was coming from out of town on business we arranged to meet at a mutually convenient location in Wembley where there would be ample room to complete the job.I turned up at the agreed time, there was no locking nut fitted to the car, so i got on with loosening the front wheel nuts and jacking up the car, the current tyres had all worn to below the legal limit of 1.6mm, we always recommend changing tyres at 3mm.
Accelera are a popular budget brand and are available in many large and low profile sizes so are popular with customers of high end and 4x4 vehicles who want new tyres but don`t want to break the bank.I removed the front tyres but there was no need to replace the valves as they were the TPMS one`s which are pretty common now on many vehicles and are definitely beneficial as they will alert you if you are losing pressure in a tyre. After mounting the new tyres and inflating to the correct pressure it was onto the balancer, balancing completed and fitted back onto the vehicle and tightened to the correct torque setting.Everything was completed as quickly as possible so that the customer could be on his way. He was very appreciative that i could meet him at a convenient location and complete the work.For
